Cdl training and tesing pricing

CLASS A

 Class A CDL License: The Class A is needed to operate any combination of vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 26,001 or more pounds provided the GVWR of the vehicle(s) being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.


CLASS B

 Class B CDL License: The Class B is needed to operate any single vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 26,001 or less pounds or any such vehicle towing a vehicle not in excess of 10,000 pounds. Vehicles requiring a Class B CDL license.

CLASS C

 Class C CDL License:   Vehicles transporting placardable amounts of hazardous materials, or vehicles designed to transport more than 15 persons including the driver with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of less than 26,001 lbs.

COURSE SCHEDULE

 Weekday Classes:

  • Morning- Afternoon - Night Classes available Monday-Thursday
  • 4-8 week course  (each student is unique 4-8 weeks does not apply to all but we focus on the safety).

Endorsement Classes:

PROGRAMS

 Program 1: CDL Training Program


This is the most common program SWBE offers with training to obtain your Commercial Learner's Permit and along with your FMCSA approved DOT physical.


~240 hours of training between the classroom, in the yard and on the road.
~Skills Test
~Pre-Trip Inspection
~Driving Test

Program 2: Testing Program


We offer CDL Testing to the public.


Test prep: SWBE offer a test prep to get you all the tools needed to study and pass the CDL test


Program 3: Refresher  Course


This program is offered only to those who have prior experience. 


Classroom Training: hours (logs and master driver series).


Road Training:  hours behind the wheel to refresh your driving skills 


Yard Training:  hours of instruction on backing and pre-trip and practice in our backing yard.


Written Evaluation: A written evaluation will be preformed by one of our instructors.


All Courses taught at SWBE will include on-site testing and special sections focused on Financial and Physical Wellness and tips on how to stay healthy while driving OTR. 

CDL TESTING

Class A, Class B, Class C

TUITION

Tuition Cost includes CDL book, Commercial Learner's Permit Test, FMCSA approved DOT Physical (for your Medcard), registration fee, Financial & Physical Wellness segments and job placement assistance.

 

Students will be responsible for food, travel and any additional expenses, however we can work with you if you are coming from out of town for class. 


FINANCING


Trucking companies may offer reimbursement for truck driver training programs. Many trucking companies will pre-hire students and reimburse their training costs as long as he/she sign a contract to be employed by that company when his/her license is obtained.


​We partner with Branch Banking and Trust Company (BB&T) to help students finance school as easily as possible.

IMCOMPELETION POLICY


A student who withdraws or is withdrawn is eligible for a refund of tuition based on the Florida state refund policy.
